We’re here to help!
Veterinary Financing Options:
We want to be sure we are able to help pet owners who are most in need of emergency care for their pets. Because funds are limited we ask that you be sure you have exhausted other resources before completing an application.
Besides asking friends & family for help, there are also programs that will assist you with financing. We suggest you also look into applying for Care Credit and Scratch Pay, if your emergency veterinary facility accepts these forms of payment.
CareCredit is a widely accepted credit card used for health and wellness costs, including veterinary care. Approval is instant and you can use it immediately. You can also use this card for human medical and dental costs!
Scratch Pay is a loan program intended to be used for financing of health and wellness costs, including veterinary care. Unlike CareCredit, it is one time loan.

Funds are used for treatments considered life-saving or where the quality of life for the cat or dog would be impeded without treatment.
Euthanasia exception: if treatment is not an option or is unlikely to have a favorable outcome, applicants may request assistance with the cost of humane euthanasia and/or cremation costs with the option to choose to have the pet’s remains returned to them. (not to exceed $475 in total costs)
Funds will not be given for routine veterinary care or vaccines.
The pet must be a cat or a dog and their owner must reside in the state of New Hampshire.
Owner must demonstrate a financial need by meeting the criteria:
Receiving Federal, State or Local Assistance
SSI/SSDI/SSA Benefits

Other reason to request assistance (please provide an explanation on your application)
Applicants must have attempted raising these funds on their own- asking friends and family for help, applying for CareCredit and/or Scratch Pay, and contributing their own money to the extent they are able.
In the event treatment is needed due to abuse or neglect, financial assistance will only be provided upon agreement from the owner to surrender the animal to a shelter/facility or an individual willing to adopt.
